Rain Bird is seeking a Sales Specialist to support the Landscape Irrigation business across the Central-West and North regions of Brazil.

The position involves regular interaction with distributors, irrigation retailers, contractors, installers, specifiers, and direct customers, supporting sales growth, business development, product training, and commercial and technical activities across the assigned territory.

This field-based role will work closely with the Area Sales Manager to develop business opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and support market development initiatives throughout the region.

Frequent travel throughout the territory is required. Candidates should preferably be based in Brasília-DF or be willing to relocate.

Location Note: Brasília, DF is the preferred location for this position. Candidates based in other cities within Brazil's Central-West and North regions may also be considered, depending on business needs and territory coverage.

• Support sales growth by working with existing Rain Bird customers and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Prospect, develop, and support customers and business opportunities in coordination with the Area Sales Manager.
• Maintain regular contact with distributors, irrigation retailers, contractors, installers, specifiers, and direct customers.
• Support Rain Bird’s distribution network by helping partners improve product knowledge, customer coverage, and sales execution.
• Support both direct and indirect sales activities according to the needs of the territory.
• Differentiate Rain Bird through good customer service, local market presence, and consistent follow-up on projects and business opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to expand the use of Rain Bird products within existing and prospective customers.
• Provide commercial and technical support related to product selection, applications, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for distributors, retailers, contractors, installers, and customers.
• Support customers and partners with irrigation projects, including product application, specification, pricing, and installation-related questions.
• Assist customers with after-sales support, technical questions, and product-related issues.
• Support sales and marketing programs, promotions, product launches, customer events, and other field activities.
• Gather and communicate information about customer needs, competitors, pricing, and market trends.
• Plan customer visits and field activities effectively across the assigned territory.
• Work closely with the Area Sales Manager and other Rain Bird teams to support customer needs and business opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

• A. or B.S. degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in irrigation, technical products, or a related industry.
• Previous field sales or technical sales experience.
• Experience working with distributors and direct customers.
• Good written and verbal communication and general business skills.
• Good technical understanding and ability to learn irrigation products, applications, and systems.
• Good planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage customer visits, priorities, and follow-up activities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the Area Sales Manager and other team members.
• Good relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, presentations, and other standard business applications.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time or more

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in the irrigation industry, particularly in irrigation sales.
• Knowledge of or exposure to Landscape irrigation systems, product applications, design and installation
