The Area Manager – NSW & ACT is responsible for influencing the dealer network to grow Landscape Irrigation sales and ultimately market share in the sales territory. Responsibilities include developing and executing account plans with dealers, and focusing on areas such as product and retail training, store merchandising, local marketing and other business development initiatives. There is also a need to grow the dealer footprint by adding new accounts in areas where coverage may be lacking.
To be successful in this role you will be a hands-on & highly motivated individual who is a self-starter that thrives on challenges. You will have 5 plus years' experience in B2B sales with an excellent customer service ethos. High levels of commercial acumen and strategic thought will be key to your success in the role, as will possessing excellent organizational and planning skills. You will have a keen ability to effectively manage competing priorities whilst successfully growing a highly autonomous sales territory.
Experience in the irrigation or similar industries would be viewed favorably however not essential. You will have a demonstrated ability to build rapport, develop strong customer relationships and have a history of delivering on agreed goals and sales targets. Intermediate/advanced excel skills and highly developed presentation skills will be required.
