Overview

The Golf Applications Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving exceptional experiences for our golf customers.  They will collaborate with course customers to unlock the full potential of advanced irrigation solutions, driving exceptional results.  They will use hands-on problem-solving to accelerate resolution of challenges reported from the field.  If you are passionate about blending technology, leadership, and customer success in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make an impact!

Responsibilities

  • Manage execution of software field tests, overseeing setup, monitoring, hands-on support, and maintaining strong communication with participating courses. Gather critical performance data and customer insights, delivering impactful reports to the Product Manager and Product Owner.
  • Inspire and guide Golf & Services personnel to empower customers to optimize their irrigation systems, unlocking the full potential of our cutting-edge features.
  • Assist with testing and steps to replicate software bugs reported by field test courses to accelerate solutions and enhance product quality.
  • Develop product documentation and training materials that capture insight from development and field testing, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer to sales, service teams and distribution.
  • Champion new product feature training for the internal teams and external partners.
  • Elevate the customer experience before, during and following a new irrigation system installation with new programs, training and education. .

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s
  • Strong computer skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of basic business principles.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight out-of-state travel.
  • Solid knowledge of concepts uses and practices, of golf irrigation systems (or similar software-controlled systems).
  • The candidate should be self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in an engineering
  • Hands on experience maintaining and/or managing golf course irrigation systems.
  • Advanced golf central control programming
