Overview

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting, this Senior Accountant position will be an instrumental member of the finance project team for the Oracle Fusion implementation. The responsibilities of this role will change over time, so we are looking for an experienced team member who is agile and open to adjust responsibilities through the different stages of the system implementation project.

 

Responsibilities

Initially this role will support the ERP implementation by

 

  • Understanding processes in the new system
  • Testing module configurations
  • Supporting process documentation
  • Collaborating cross functionally to understand impacts of process changes across the organization
  • Being a change management champion
  • Other Ad hoc responsibilities and reporting as assigned

 

At and after implementation, this role will be responsible for

 

  • Being a Super User within Oracle Fusion
  • General Ledger transactions
  • Month End/Quarter End/Year End Close activities and reporting, including Intercompany and Consolidations processes
  • Testing and validating that strong Internal Controls are set up and properly functioning in the new system
  • Participation in the Year End annual audit process
  • Other Ad hoc responsibilities and reporting as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Accounting or related degree
  • 5 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience leading cross functional communication, including Senior Leadership

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree
  • CMA or CPA Certification
  • 8 plus years of experience
  • Experience with ERP system implementations, experience with Oracle Fusion a plus
