Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for all Landscape SBU’s sales and market share growth in the KSA. Responsibilities include the development & implementation of a strategic plan, sales plan, business development, and Strategic Accounts Management. Area Sales Managers work with the team on ground within a geographic territory and measured on revenue production and market share improvement.  The successful candidate must be willing to travel extensively, and must be technically competent, a sound presenter, results-oriented, highly self-motivated, and ideally will have Irrigation industry experience.

 

This person will operate as a partner and consultant for customers by developing a thorough understanding of their business and of the industry so that they can identify their needs and recommend the Rain Bird solutions that meet those needs.  Customers include Strategic Accounts, contractors, architects, specifiers, dealers, consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and Managing Strategic Accounts in Saudi Arabia
  • Growing product sales ahead of the market,
  • Growing the brand and market presence and increase the market share of Rain Bird.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities,
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Key Conclusion Makers, Influencers and Specifiers.
  • Manage the required sales activities, workshops, training, marketing, and promotions for the Strategic Accounts.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • 8 + years of relative experience
  • Mechanical / Electrical / Irrigation / Agriculture Engineering
  • Irrigation experience (including design and installation)
  • Experience in working within a multinational organization.
  • Irrigation Industry experience within this territory
  • P&L Experience
