Overview

We are currently searching for a detail-oriented and highly motivated quality technician to join our team. As a quality technician, you will work to support, sustain, and improve our processes to ensure that we deliver the highest quality product to our customers

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate process data to ensure compliance.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Managing the defective material process and MRB.
  • Support product and raw material testing to determine conformance to specifications.
  • Manage all measure and test equipment to maintain precision and accuracy.
  • Sending out conformance reports.
  • Supporting extrusion troubleshooting efforts.
  • Conduct individual and group training sessions.
  • Support the calibration system.
  • Conduct gauge studies.
  • Support new product and process validation requirements.
  • Manage projects to improve performance.

Qualifications

  • Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter that can work independently with limited supervision.
  • Must have strong communication skills – interpersonal, verbal, and written.
  • Must have strong computer and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • High-performance work history.
  • Working knowledge of statistical process control.
  • Working knowledge of measure and test equipment.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings.
  • Previous work experience in a quality role.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Experience with quality engineering tools (Pareto Charts, GR&R, SPC, Control Plans, FMEAs, C&E Diagrams, etc.).
  • Experience with mass production environment.
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma.

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

MON-FRI, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Must be flexible to work other shifts as required.
