Overview

Rain Bird has a need for a skilled, knowledgeable and energetic professional to assist in its accounts receivable department This high-energy, high-volume department works with other functions across the company to safeguard assets, assure the timely collection of customer receivables and improve the efficiency of company billing practices.

 

Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Representative is responsible for collection and deduction management. Assists in the reconciliation of payment discrepancies and disputes and recommends solution and resolution alternatives.

 

  • Perform key Accounts Receivable requirements including, but not limited to
  • Collections and cash application
  • Order management, billing corrections, invoices for customer advance payments
  • Account and Bank Reconciliations
  • Deduction Management
  • Balance A/R logs
  • Maintain accounts receivable files
  • Obtain proof of delivery documentation
  • Mexico specific A/R requirements (i.e. UUID, e-invoicing and digital reporting, etc.)
  • Prepare monthly and Ad hoc statements to customers
  • Perform Month End Close processes

Other Ad hoc duties as requested

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in billing and collections
  • Experience with Mexico specific A/R requirements (i.e. UUID, e-invoicing and digital reporting, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • PC literate in a Windows environment and with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Must be dependable, Self-Motivated and a Team Player
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, organization, and negotiation skills

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or related fields preferred
