Overview

The Data Analytics Lead is responsible for building, developing, supporting, and implementing data solutions on cloud platform. Work closely with business stake holders in understanding the requirements. He will also need to work on Data Governance processes, Data Quality, Data Reconciliation frameworks etc. Help business users in providing required data sets for their reports build.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Director of Data and Analytics to develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with the Rain Bird's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data analytics platforms, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and secure.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical models to support data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Select, configure, and implement relevant analytics solutions.
  • Create and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate complex data analysis findings to stakeholders at various levels.
  • Lead a team of analysts providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of data analytics projects.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards and governance processes to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data assets.
  • Work closely with strategic business units to understand their data needs and provide analytical support to drive business outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge and experience (8+ years) in data management practices, and information technology, preferably in the manufacturing and software industries.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with relevant tools and technologies, such as data management platforms, and business intelligence solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, data integration, and data governance.
  • Experience in Cloud Data Technologies in any Hyperscaler AWS, Azure, GCP, SnowFlake Or Databricks. Specific experience in AWS & Snowflake is required.
  • 3 plus years experience with Snowflake
  • Good understanding of managing a Data, Analytics & AI platform for optimal cost, performance and security to support business
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating the business value of data management initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

 

 

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certifications in enterprise data management, etc.
  •  Snowflake Certification

Salary range for candidates based in California: $155,838 - $233,757

Salary range for candidates based in Colorado or New York- New York City: $145,643 - $218,464

Salary ranges include base salary and annual incentive bonus if applicable.
