Rain Bird seeks a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to implement strategies for profitable product sales and market share growth in Landscape throughout their assigned region.


The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as, be proactive, customer-oriented, and driven to succeed in a fast paced environment.  He/She will be self-motivated and enjoy independent field work that will deliver extraordinary results.




  • Sell to contractors, municipalities or public agencies and specifiers on using/buying Rain Bird landscape products and services. 
  • Achieve Rain Bird landscape product sales growth by specification, through direct cooperation with Landscape Architects, Designers, Specifiers, as well as some key public agencies such as Universities, Schools & Sporting Clubs.
  • Analyze the market as it relates to market share, penetration and growth opportunities and develop an annual strategic plan to reach sales targets and corporate objectives.
  • Successfully develop and implement trainings, tools and programs to promote Rain Bird turf products in projects specification.
  • Develop and execute sales and promotional efforts with the Area Manager, other Contractor Account Managers, Specification Managers and key distributors to grow Rain Bird sales with top professional irrigation contractor targets.
  • Strive to differentiate Rain Bird from its competitors by providing superior customer service, high visibility, and aggressive call coverage cycle.
  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager and SBU Product Managers in determining market needs.
  • Maintain, utilize and grow designers, contractor and public agency databases for direct marketing and communication efforts.
  • Educate and influence the designers and irrigation contractor on the value of Rain Bird’s turf products, their application and key benefits as it relates to product preference.
  • Participation and development of strategic contractor events, tradeshows and regional events.
  • This position requires approximately 80% traveling in Poland and occasionally in other Eastern Europe Countries.



  • Degree or Diploma qualifications in a relevant field (Landscape Design, Architecture)
  • Three to five years of experience in cooperation with Architects, Design Offices, Public Agencies other Designer and influencers to design and specification process of public and commercial projects. Proven ability to sell, ideally in the Irrigation industry or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills, written and oral, and general business skills.
  • Motivated, results-oriented, self-starter eager to take ownership of job requirements.
  • Strong analytical & computer skills. Use of Design tool will be a plus.
  • Good level of English



  • Irrigation design experience.
  • Experience in contacts with design offices and public agencies
  • Graduate/Bachelor’s degree
