Analyze shipment history, item detail, inventory levels, and point of sale (POS) reporting for major retail customers to support category management, evaluate effectiveness of promotions, identify profitable growth opportunities and effectively manage inventory all while learning the retail channel of Rain Bird.
Monitor category and item level sales with weekly reporting to the National Account Managers and senior business management. Identify and forecast future trends by collaborative forecasting with key customers. Monitor the impact of seasonal changes and regional buying preferences using customer guidelines and established metrics. Provide assistance and direction regarding sales patterns and future purchasing parameters. .
Implement new items with customers through their process network to ensure timely set up and delivery. Maintain current items in customer’s electronic databases to ensure data accuracy and avoid fines.
