The Test Floor Supervisor is a working supervisor.  This position will conduct and supervise testing operations of the Systems Manufacturing plant.  The position is also responsible for training employees in testing procedures as well as other topics assigned by the Production Manager.  This position also ensures safety regulations, regulatory controls, policies, and procedures are followed.  The position will foster a continuous-improvement environment for testing and production operations, and has accountability for the safety, quality, delivery, and productivity performance. 


  • Perform final product function and validation testing
  • Assist engineering with test failure analysis to isolate areas for product/process improvements
  • Establish and document formal test procedures, test plans and test reports
  • Suggest necessary supplies to support test programs to Production Manager
  • Troubleshoot final product malfunctions, including electrical, electronic and mechanical failures
  • Monitor and calibrate test equipment to insure that all processes are proper and accurate.
  • Prepare test hardware and software as required
  • Supervise and train technicians in their accomplishment of the above tasks
  • Implement and ensure safety regulations, regulatory controls, policies, and procedures are followed
  • Assist in the management and reporting of Quality related issues
  • Initiate and drive quality and process improvements
  • Drive 5S efforts and enforce/maintain good housekeeping
  • Facilitate accurate and efficient communication between all departments and production/testing
  • Completion of special projects set forth by the Production Manager and/or General Manager
  • Drive projects or sub-projects to completion while meeting project deliverables
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and in a timely and effective manner
  • Any tasks assigned by the Production Manager



  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years manufacturing Group Lead experience
  • Understanding of engineering concepts, drawings and schematics (mechanical, electrical &


  •       Ability to work alone or as part of a team, under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in WORD and EXCEL
  • Experience with 5S



  • BA or AA in a technical or supervision discipline
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience
  • Highly flexible and creative with the ability to succeed in a very dynamic environment
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Manufacturing Modules
